I didn't know if you knew that instructors need CEU as well when you teach on the college level. On the plus side to this often the organization you are certified with, like the AAPC, will give you CEUs for coding classes you teach.
This past month I turned in an application for 16 CEUs on the Advanced Medical Coding course I teach. Some of the requirements were:
1. Must be face to face course
2. Total of number lecture hours listed
3. Syllabus provided
